Rhythm - Clapsticks Unpainted Carved From Wood For Great Sound

  • $9.98

12" Unpainted Clapsticks

The sound of the clapsticks or bilma (also known as claves) accompany the drone of the didgeridoo in traditional Aboriginal ceremony. These are hand crafted by Raymond Howard from fire-seasoned Chico Zapote wood which is an extremely dense and durable wood that ranges in color from reddish brown to light orange. They are finished with Danish Oil. These clapsticks are deadly sounding with a warm yet crisp tonality. They average 12" in length. These are flat, not round, so they won't roll away and are easy to hold.
